Play a Game - Game Management - Overview

 

The first thing you will notice in the Player client is the icons on the top.

   

 

 

This is the d20Pro icon to bring up the Main Menu.

 

/ This toggles the ruler where you can measure the distance between two points on the grid (from the center of one grid square to the center of another grid square).

 

/ This toggles the grid overlay.

 

Note: the middle buttons may be greyed out, this means it is either not in inititive or is not your turn. Once they are active you can press them to do the following actions.

 

Ends your turn.

 

Ready an action (Let the Judge/GM know when you want to take your readied action).

 

Delay your turn. (Let the Judge/GM know when you would like to re-enter the inititive).

 

Charge! This will auto-adjust your attack bonus and ac penalty using 3.X and PFRPG rules.

 

 

Context Menu is launched by right-clicking (on MacOS: ALT + Click) on a creature on the map or on the roster.

Attack (A) brings up a list of attacks for the selected creature.

 

Quick Attack (Q) selects the last attack and does it again, simply select the target.

 

Save > (choose between Fort, Ref, and Will) the result will be displayed in the Game Log.

 

Abilities > (displays the list of abilities available for the creature selected)

 

Skill (K) brings up the list of skills for the selected creature, to make a skill check. Double click on the skill you wish to perform and the result will be displayed in the Game Log (alternatively, single click on the skill and press the "OK" button).

 

Spell (S) brings up a list of all spells the creature can cast at each spell level.

 

Action > Combat Actions > Grapple, Melee Touch, and Ranged Touch.

 

Action > Pickup an Item (P) allows you to pickup an item that your creature is standing in the same square as an item.

 

Action > Fast Skills (1-3) as determined by the Options Window.

 

Rotate > Clockwise ( ] ) will rotate the creature 45 degrees clockwise.

Rotate > Counter-clockwise ( [ ) will rotate the creature 45 degrees counter-clockwise.

 

View (E) will bring up the character sheet for the selected creature.

 

Talk (T) will allow you to talk as the selected creature in the Game Log.
