Game Preperation - Overview

How to Create Adventures - From PDF to d20Pro.

In this guide, I will document the process I use to transform a Pathfinder Society Scenario PDF into d20Pro VTT format where my players can enjoy.

There are lots of published adventures you can convert for online play, but for the purposes of demonstrating how to use d20Pro we will use a free adventure published by Paizo.

To start, I visit the Paizo website, find Pathfinder Society, Season 3 scenarios, then add "Pathfinder Society Scenario Intro 1: First Steps - Part I: In Service to Lore (PFRPG) PDF" to my downloads, then download the PDF from my personal download list.

The steps I use to convert published adventures into online VTT format is to first prepare the maps, then creatures, then any story events I wish to remind myself while running the game.

Continue to next step (Create Maps)...
